What’s a Trend You’re Seeing/Prediction for the Future: 

We view artificial intelligence now as the internet was in the 1990s knowing that in 10 years it will be omnipresent; in 20 years will be driving businesses. Companies that don’t have in-house talent ready to execute on these technologies often come to us as we are a development powerhouse in Ohio (50 developers here; 100 offshore) that can embrace these projects with A-level talent.

A Problem/Challenge We Are Working To Solve: 

Companies understand that instead of just “having” data – in some cases getting swamped by it – that they need to make it actionable. The dawn of artificial intelligence means you can “ask” your data for solutions … and get answers. If you can walk into your living room and ask Siri to play your favorite music, how long will it be until your CIO can? Or your shop floor manager? And if you can ask Siri a questions like “what is the temperature?” it won’t be long until you can ask your data “how much net profit did we make? By line? By product?” And you’ll get answers customized to your business. That’s were Dash delivers.

Why is Ohio is a great place to do business?

One of our founders has built three businesses in Ohio since coming here 10 years ago and is a start-up expert. The other founder, his brother, worked at Cardinal Health and you can’t get any bigger than that. But he left to form Dash – a fourth company. Ohio is filled with smart people with a fantastic work ethic working alongside business-friendly governments. We love how Ohio connects ideas, people and businesses that understand and appreciate excellence. As for technology, it’s a great home to tech companies, and emerging companies. Our focus is on artificial intelligence for business and not many understand that … yet. We do.
