What We Do:

Provide IT Professionals the opportunity to Connect & Collaborate

What’s a Trend You’re Seeing/Prediction for the Future:

Opportunities in the IT field continue to grow and aren’t going to slow down. As a result, we all need to work together to help younger generations understand the vast number of opportunities that are available to them – it isn’t just “plugging in cables/blinky lights or writing lines of code in dark rooms while eating pizza”.  Well, ok there is clearly some of that but there are many opportunities – user interface, business liaisons, sales, documentation, security . . . all technology related but not what people think of at first. As a result of this need, we’re seeing organizations adjust their requirements and working with outside organizations and educational institutions in ways that will help us fill the IT shortage and encourage others to enter the field.

A Problem/Challenge We Are Working To Solve:

By providing IT professionals the opportunity to Connect and Collaborate, they will not only learn from each other on technical topics but share the really progressive things that are taking place in the region. This will help generate a sense of excitement that bubbles over and will help us attract and retain talent in the region.

Organization's Slogan:

Where IT Professionals Connect and Collaborate.

Why is Ohio a great place to do business?

Ohio has such an awesome balance of so many things. It isn’t just manufacturing. There are opportunities in so many different industries; in Big Cos; small private family businesses that have been around for years and exciting new start-ups. Great educational programs throughout the state provide a good talent pool to pull from. Employers recruiting into the area can offer competitive wages with a reasonable cost of living and all the amenities of a big city (pro sports, theater, museums) with the benefits of small town living (minimal traffic, parks, rural settings, etc.) .
