Erandi De Silva, Ph.D. is Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of Product Development at Forge Biologics. In this episode, we talk with Erandi about her journey to Ohio, building a BioTech outside of traditional life science hubs, increasing opportunities for girls and women in STEM, and more.

Dr. De Silva is an experienced scientist and entrepreneur with over 10 years in discovery research, therapeutic development, and partnering across oncology, infectious diseases, and gene therapy.

Prior to founding Forge, Dr. De Silva held leadership roles in both academic and industry settings. She's been named 2022 40 under 40 by Columbus Business First and 2022's Fiercest Women in Life Sciences by Fierce Pharma.

Dr. De Silva earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and her B.S., with honors, from Stanford University.
